The Daily Shore is a members-only daily paper for the North Shore — read every morning by verified local households: the people already living, dining, shopping, and raising kids in your town.
We’re inviting local businesses to be part of it: a directory listing in front of our members, in exchange for a simple member perk. No ad dashboard, no bidding, no contract, no monthly invoice — just useful local visibility inside a carefully edited member experience.
We write your listing for you from your form answers, and you approve it before anything goes live. Every listing follows the same format — your story up top, your member perk front and center:
Northbrook · Books & Gifts
An independent bookshop on Maple Avenue with a deep children's section, a wall of staff picks, and Saturday story time at 10:30. The kind of place where they remember your kid's reading level.
123 Maple Ave, Northbrook · Tue–Sat, 10am–6pm · (847) 555-0134
Your listing is free. In exchange, you offer Daily Shore members a perk — typically 10% off, but you set the terms, with reasonable exclusions (alcohol, gift cards, peak dates, and the like). Members get simple redemption instructions. You can change or pause your perk any time with an email — no phone call required.
What members see: your story, location, hours, category, perk details, and a direct path to book, order, or visit. The directory is curated for discovery — never ranked by who pays the most.
Do I need to be a member?
No. This page is for you; the directory is for them.
Which towns?
All of them — Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, Highland Park, Glencoe, Winnetka & Kenilworth, Wilmette, Northbrook, and Glenview. If you serve more than one town, tell us in the form.
What does the perk cost me?
Only the discount you choose to offer. There are no fees and no invoices, ever.
Can I change or pause my listing?
Any time. One email and it’s done.
Tell us about your business below. We’ll write your listing and send it back for approval — usually within a couple of days.
